The Philippine Army has clarified the present state of the search in the ongoing efforts to find the missing Cessna 152 aircraft. No wreckage or remains have been discovered as of yet, despite earlier reports identifying a potential crash site inside the borders of Luna and Pudtol.
The probability of a crash site in either Brgy has already been indicated by the Apayao Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO). Brgy, Salvacion, or Luna. Mariano, Pudtol. A major search and rescue effort was launched after an airplane destined for Tuguegarao, which had taken off from Loag, vanished.
However, The search crews could not find any physical signs of a crash, though, when they arrived at the stated areas. The Philippine Army is investigating additional surrounding places as prospective locations for the jet wreckage because neither wreckage nor any evidence of impact has been found at these sites.
The authorities are steadfastly determined to locating the missing aircraft and the passengers as the search goes on. As the inquiry progresses and as new information becomes available, updates on the situation will be provided.
